I had a frustrating experience with the room's AC and lights. They shut off unexpectedly, leaving me in the dark just as I was stepping out of the shower. Plus, it kept getting too cold while we were trying to sleep!

Liked our well-designed and decent size rooms in this hotel.
The restaurant was fantastic for breakfast, we ordered delicious dishes. The location was stunning, just a short stroll away from Maori galleries. Btw, went to city center, located around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

I had an awesome stay! The location couldn't be better-close to beautiful parks and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was super neat and comfy, and I loved the plunger coffee they provided. I even went out to buy some to take home! The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made a big difference.
There were a few hiccups. The TV was a bit moody, turning off on its own and showing the cast screen intermittently. the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, and I wish there had been more plant-based options for breakfast. it was a great experience despite the small issues!

The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a beautiful, spacious bathroom that made my experience even more enjoyable. I appreciated the thoughtful details that contributed to a relaxing atmosphere—the large window allowed for ample natural light, adding to the peaceful vibe.
Despite this, I would highly recommend this place for its overall excellence!

Absolutely one of my favorite hotels. Fine decor made every corner of the hotel visually appealing. The Standard King Room was huge, providing plenty of space to relax. Room service was excellent, and I loved the 5/5 star quality of the food. Enjoyed breakfast via room service every day, and the coffee was terrific. The tablet in the room allowed easy ordering for extra pillows and other requests, which I found super convenient. The menu at the restaurant lacked gluten-free options, disappointing. I felt the food quality this time had slipped a bit in flavor compared to my last visit. Despite these issues, the room was very modern and quiet. The staff were attentive and surprising us with free drinks was a lovely touch. I would go back without hesitation.

Should you try it? Yes or No
Fantastic amenities and super comfortable bedding. The restaurant offered beautifully arranged surroundings paired with delicious food. Complimentary beverages.
The location can be slightly inconvenient, requiring a few extra steps to reach the main city attractions. Paid parking is available, though it's not free!

The Superior Double or Twin Room features a versatile layout accommodating families well. Unique amenities like in-room tablets offer a modern touch for extra requests and room service.
A few inconveniences popped up, like the shower with low water pressure and unpredictable warmth. The TV had a glitchy default screen, and I was nearly charged for minibar snacks after they seemed overlooked by housekeeping. Some early morning footpath maintenance created an unwelcome wake-up call for a couple of days.
